To our Micro family

Never, when we started Micro Scooters from our kitchen tables just over 15 years ago did we expect to be managing a business through these extraordinary times. We are small, just 35 employees in the UK and do everything we can to look after our staff, their families and equally as important our customers – you.

We thought it important to send a message to let you know we are operating as normal but please do bear with us during these difficult times.

  • As parents ourselves we have always recognised the importance of flexible working. The majority of the team at Micro are also parents – we have made it easy for all staff to work flexibly.
  • We are here as and when you need us. Whether that’s through Live Chat, Whats App, our appointment service, telephone or email
  • We will continue to keep the conversation going through our social media channels by posting inspiring and helpful content that may help to bring some light relief during these trying times.

That just leaves us to say thank you for all your support over the years and your continuing support. We will keep you updated if anything changes. Please do look after yourselves and each other.

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE

Can I still order from your website?

You most certainly can!  We are currently experiencing no delays with delivery times.  If this changes we will let you know.

What is your delivery time? Are deliveries affected?

We offer free delivery on all scooter orders. Standard delivery time is 2-3 working days. Deliveries are unaffected. We are extremely confident your order will be with you within 2-3 working days.

What is your returns policy?

During these uncertain times we are trying to help things be a little more certain by increasing our returns policy to 60 days from the date of receipt. 

This means you are able to return your order within 60 days if you are unhappy with it.  All other normal returns policies still stand.  You can read them here >

Please note we have always been unable to accept returns on personalised items.  This policy still stands.

I’m self-isolating how do I make a return?

There are a range of couriers including Parcel 2 Go, Royal Mail etc who will pick up your parcel from home.  You can arrange for them to collect your parcel and return it to us. Please note we do not offer free returns. 

Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19). It is understood that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects such as letters or parcels. This complements the highly publicised guidance from PHE for people to wash their hands more often than usual using soap and hot water.

We encourage customers to ask drivers to leave on the door step and step away.

Ask drivers to log the name of the person, and do not sign the handheld device giving to capture electronic signatures.

What are your customer service opening hours?

The majority of our customer services team are now working from home.  They are parents and are juggling working with childcare (as we all are).

The team are still available from 8am-8pm Monday-Sunday and can be contacted in a variety of ways including:

  • Social
  • Telephone

Is your warehouse still operating?

Yes. Appropriate measures have been put into place in the distribution centre to safeguard the workforce, including a reduction of staffing levels to allow for social distancing and meticulous hygiene and cleanliness measures. Additionally, we are liaising with our delivery partners to ensure the continued safe and secure carriage of goods to our customers. Should this position change in the near future we will of course let you know.

Will you be closed for Easter?

Yes. The warehouse closes on Easter Bank holidays. Please see the ordering times/dates below in order to get your scooter in time for Easter

  • Create your own scooter order before 3.30pm Friday 2nd April for delivery pre Easter
  • Order before 3.30pm Monday 4th April for pre Easter Delivery (all orders)
